Hi Simon,

I don't know what causes your problem here, but I have something similar in my Eclipse (Ganymede) installation after trying a sample RCP application. I now have two additional senseless pulldown menus as well as the corresponding buttons in Eclipse's cool bar. So it might be worth looking for an application that inserts those panels into your workbench.
