Default Error when launching Eclipse: In Project Explorer window: "Error creating the view" - 05-01-2008, 08:47 AM
Hello all.

I am a beginner in Linux and Eclipse.
After I extract Eclipse, when I launch it, in the Project Explorer window I receive the next error: "Error creating the view".

At details I see this:

"java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.eclipse.core.runtime.Plugin
at org.eclipse.osgi.framework.internal.core.BundleLoa der.findClassInternal(BundleLoader.java:434)
at org.eclipse.osgi.framework.internal.core.BundleLoa der.findClass(BundleLoader.java:369)"

and so on... (for about 100 lines)

What can I do ?
