Default Eclipse Galileo SR1 - Mac OS X 10.5.8 - Working ? - 10-23-2009, 04:32 PM

Hi,

Being a pretty rooster in hacking various architectures, but a pretty newbie on Eclipse for real usage elsewhere than Linux, especially newbie on Mac OS X, I have a damn question...

Did someone succeed, how to have Eclipse working on a Mac OS X 10.5.8 ?

I can run a simple Java project by hand in a terminal, but each time I try to do more, using Eclipse to create projects (even a simple System.out.println ("Hello world"), I get the infamous "NoClassDefFound".

I read tons of forums messages, tricks and tips... I still can't succed in having the stuff working.

So, is there someone having such a configuration working ?
What version of Eclipse is suitable to have something running ?

Any tip will be appreciated
