Default One filetype two icons - 04-15-2008, 01:16 AM

Hi:

I created an editor-plug-in which opens files with the extension "*.xyz".

When I highlight my editor extension within the tab "Extensions" (within the Plug-in Manifest Editor), I can (within the "Extension Element Details" section) set the icon these xyz-files should get.

I have two different versions of "xyz"-files. My editor is capable of opening both of them.

In Netbeans it is possible to assign more than one icon to files with the same filetype by checking the content of the files (let me know if you want to know more about that).

In this case it would be nice to assign two icons. One for each version of the "xyz"-file.

Can I do that in Eclipse too?

For an answer thank you very much in advance.
