First of all bravo! for the effort especially when i read these lines... from IBM site.. "Helios is the simultaneous release of 39 Eclipse projects. In terms of statistics, the Helios release includes 33 million lines of code developed by about 500 Eclipse.org committers from 44 companies." Well as a Java & plug-in developer there is no major difference in helios (excuse me if i had'nt noticed enough ). I tried the classic version which loads faster than Galileo. Since eclipse is not the same as it was in 2003. Marketplace becomes a must for future releases. The installable size is also fine. Hope eclipse can bring SWT/JFace UI design tool and include that by default in its classic versions. Most importantly it should not change any of its existing good features.
