Smile Eclipse Remote Control - 08-26-2008, 09:47 PM

Is it possible to control eclipse from another application??
I want to create a program(probably in python)
which can automatically open and load a project in eclipse IDE.

It is possible to open eclipse from another application, sure (though I don't know how to do it in python; it'd be the same as opening any other program), and it is also possible to specify a workspace location (wherever the project is) using the commandline option "-workspace path/to/workspace".
