Default Problem in accessing help system - 10-16-2008, 05:31 AM

On the machine (Windows XP) I use at work (i. e. high security ..., but no local firewall) i cannot access the Eclipse (Ganymede) help system. Accessing it will try to access the URL http://<myipnumber>/ and not the internal web server on its associated port giving a "Connection refused" error.
I configured the network connections to use our company proxy for external sites but put localhost, 127.0.0.1 and the subnet IP range I'm in on the exception list. There is no clue in the log file.

Any clues? How do I test whether the help system Tomcat is started? On which port?

Thanks

Martin
