Default How to distinguish, by code, between RCP and plugin? - 02-15-2008, 05:32 AM

Hi all,

I have created a jar containing the common code between my rcp version and my plugin version of the same tool.

Unfortunately, in that jar, there some few points in which I would like to know if am I running inside Eclipse or inside RCP standalone...

Do you know a method to achieve that?

Thank you again!
Best regards.
Raffaele

Interesting question. Depending on how you've configured the application, maybe you could check the application id in the config.ini file?

Or maybe there's something (OSGi perhaps) to determine a list of plugins loaded?
