Hi

M using struts 2 and oracle10g for my project.I want to generate RTF format reports using jasper reports.Could anyone suggest.how to do it.I am able to generate PDF but I have no idea about the RTF format.Important point is the template have the conditional based highlighting in the reports.

Instead of using the JRPdfExporter, you simply use the JRTextExporter.

Describe the type of highlighting which is required. Usually the JRXML contains 'style' attributes or font attributes.

Hi m logesh from india...how ru..thanks for ur reply.....template is simple....it has some group of tables..tables have some valuse....based on the range of values some columns in the table has to be highlighted with yelllow....kindly sugest...it will be better understanding for me if i have code for RTF report generator.. the same like example for PDF reports....it was really good...

Take a look at the samples bundled with the jasperreports-v.v.v-project.zip. Almost all of the samples provide code to export to the various formats.
