Default swing UI & property prefixes - 01-02-2009, 03:53 PM

hi all,

I want to apply UI properties selectively to components, e.g. three buttons may have a special color scheme. Is there a better way that giving the special buttons their own UI / usually with just #getPropertyPrefix overridden?

I'd love to know how close people have gotten to "css " stylesheets with Swing ... Ideally I'd like to have some style class mechanism at my disposal ... !

thanks!
