Default Portal design issue. - 01-21-2009, 01:31 AM

Hi,
My client requirement is to build a portlet in OracleAs Portal which will take user speecific parameters like we define in Omniportlet.I am developing the Oracle PDK portlet in JDeveloper10g.The main issue here is to adopt the Omniportlet's(say for sql datasource) approach to take the user in put and then perform some other function. How can I implement that?I mean to take parameter like Omniportlet's define link.
Thanks in Advance.
