An ad at the bottom of some DZone pages starts out with:

"Your search lead you to exactly the right place!"

I'm no doubt surrounded here by experts in all kinds of computer languages, but that sentence fails the semantic phase of any well-implemented English compiler.

It's a common enough error to use the wrong conjugation of "to lead," but I feel an error in English will undermine your ad audience's faith in your ability to deliver authoritative, correct guides for any other subject matter.

Sounds more like a typo than a misunderstanding of English to me.
