Rick, Matt and Co.,

glad to see you're rolling:

The "comments" and "new comments" links below the summaries of the posts on the main page are there! Hooray.

There's two more things left on my personal wishlist:

#1 - As a longtime javalobby visitor (by the way, many thanks to all people who made this site valuable by their interesting comments!), I've been a regular consumer of Erik's Linkblog and the announcements lists (both on the web and as part of the newsletter). So, it'd be great to be able to see the announcement link list back live on the home page and statically in the newsletter.

#2 - On dzone you have near the upper left, three link sections for new-links, popular and tagcloud. Something like this might be also nice on javalobby zone, especially if similar to popular, there would be link-sections compiled according to the number of comments and alternatively the number of reads.

Cheers,
Jörg

Thanks for the awesome feedback! I suspect that in the near future we'll be able to accomodate both your requests

Hi Matt.

What's the current status of features in the baking? Like the ability to sort javalobby posts on javalobby main page according to number of comments, number of reads, number of new-comments and the ability to filter by type (announcements, tips, reviews, stories).

Cheers,
Joerg

p.s. it's a little sad to see that there are much fewer posts with loads of comments than in the old javalobby
